Kannan and his Kindergarten

Over the last year or so I have realised that no two kids are the same!

Kannan while he is extremaly talkative and active while at home, but then once he goes out he is absolutely silent and doesn't appreciate strangers lifting him. This is one of the reasons we decided to get into a play school quite early. About couple of months back we visited almost all the playschools in our vicinoty and selected one. Just one week into the school Kannan fell sick. In the last one month owing to this sickness, our vacation plans and Onam vacations he has been on and on in teh school. So we have really given him a chance to get settled in. Hopefully he feels more comfortable at the playschol in the coming days once he is regular there.

Quaterly Updates :-)

I used to call this post as Monthly update, but then its been quite some time since I made a post, hence had to call this one as Quaterly update.

Kannan has been quite naughty off late. One thing that we are worried is that he is not putting on much weight. He weights about 10 KG at years, not sure if this is normal. In terms of food he eats almost everything that we do, except for the spicy ones.

He converses a lot now.Infact we have start reading him some stories. He got himself couple of story books a week back. Interestingly to our surprise he also remembers the stories once told to him.

Pranav's Milestone's

A post which I wanted to publish much earlier but missed. Below are our Kannan's milestones as my wife and I observed.

4th Month: Started rolling over from front to back
5th Month: Started rolling over form back to front
7th Month: Started saying "Acha"
7,1/2 Month: Started sitting with support
8th Month: Started sitting all by himself
8,1/2 Month: Started to hold things to support himself to stand
8,1/2 Month started making gestures like Tata, handshake.
